Meet the Designer
Margarita has established herself as an interior designer and a selection consultant for both project and custom builders in Adelaide.
After obtaining her qualification in Interior Design, she has worked for Jeld Wen Group learning the ropes of glass and joinery for domestic and commercial use prior to emercing herself into an interior design and architecture role.
Holding a Master’s degree in Sustainability from The University of Sydney, Margarita brings a strong foundation in sustainable design principles, including passive design strategies and energy recovery systems — areas she remains deeply passionate about.
With an earlier background in customer service, getting to know and helping her clients has always been her main passion, closely followed by playing with colours, textures and materials to create spaces that reflect unique style and personality of their owners.
Together with her partner Dustin who’ve been successfully operating his HVAC and electrical business, Cool Moose, they saw a gap in the residential building industry with many small and medium builders not having enough capacity to coordinate selections for their clients and ensuring coherent, aesthetic and practical design, and decided to set up a one stop shop - a new state of the art selections studio in Millicent.

Our design process typically follows these key phases
1. Initial Consultation – We discuss your needs, style, and budget.
2. Concept Development – We create mood boards and initial concepts.
3. Design Planning – We provide layouts, selections, and visuals.
4. Implementation – We coordinate with contractors and suppliers.
5. Revisions and Final Selections - Finalised documentation is sent to a builder or project manager of your choice.
Your Questions, Answered
After the free initial consultation, the process would depend on a scope of your project. Typically about 3-5 face-to-face meetings for new build selections, and about 1-2 for small renovation projects. A number of revisions and extent of project management is based on clients individual needs.
